How to prepare a clinic patient import

Use the clinic template and prepare the provider roster before importing.

Open Practice → Import
Start the import wizard as a clinic administrator. Front-desk staff and clinic-affiliated providers cannot run imports.
Download the clinic template
Choose your source and download the template offered by the wizard. The clinic template includes Primary clinician so patients can be assigned to your roster.
Prepare the spreadsheet
Complete the required identity and contact fields and check provider names against Staff. The import brings patient details, not historical notes, documents, appointments, or invoices.
